Salary Packaging and Employee Benefits Card Frequently Asked Questions

When will my new card be funded?

In most cases, your card will have money processed onto it on your next payday. 

When will my NAB or Westpac card stop working?

30 June 2017. Your card will be closed on this date regardless of the expiry date on your card. 

What happens to the balances on my NAB or Westpac card after 30 June 2017?

Your card will be closed after this date. These balances will be transferred to your new card, however, this transfer will take up to 15 business days. 

How can I activate my new card?

Alternatively, you can activate by:

  • Login to your AccessPay account 
    (“Login for online access” button in top right-hand corner). 

  • Login to your AccessPay mobile app available to download on GooglePlay and the Apple App Store

Before you can access your account and balances online or via the app, you must be registered for online access (“Register for Online Access” button in top right-hand corner).

  • Calling the dedicated 24/7 phone line 1300 146 371.
    When calling, please have your date of birth and the Primary Cardholder’s subscriber number on hand.

How can I check my balances?

  • Login to your AccessPay account 
    (“Login for online access” button in top right-hand corner).

  • Login to your AccessPay mobile app available to download on GooglePlay and the Apple App Store

Is it too late to order a new card?

No. You can order a new Salary Packaging and Employee Benefits card at any time. By filling in the form here and returning it to customerservice@accesspay.com.au

Can I change my PIN?

No. 

What happens if I forget my PIN?

If you forget your PIN you do have the ability to retrieve it. Visit page4 of the User Guide here for instructions.  

Can I choose which account a transaction payment comes from? 

Which account a transaction will draw from will be dependent on the merchant code applied to the eftpos machine the transaction is processed through. Please see page 7 for information on the Funding Hierarchy in the User Guide here

How does the Card know which account to draw funds from? 

The funding hierarchy is the sequence in which purchases using your card will be processed to your funding sources (i.e. General Living Expenses and Entertainment Benefits accounts).  Please see page 7 for information on the Funding Hierarchy in the User Guide here
